"Libby" aka Liberty, came into rescue earlier this year through the efforts of a Humane Society confiscation & breeder surrender.
She was severely underweight, full of roundworms and scared for her pups. She and the litter had been living with numerous other dogs and litters in a filthy portable classroom shelter lacking in ventillation, adequate food and water with no heat or air. Libby underwent a major bath & haircut, spay, dental and deworming, plus plenty of TLC. On first sight she was spoken for by a very kind couple who now spoil her immensely, a life she so deserves!
Meet the pups:
Six in all, not sure what the father was but our hunch is shitzu... They were worm infested and hungry but thankfully too young to carry the emotional scars mom has. They were bathed & loved & allowed to romp on the grass in the dog yard outdoors. Potty training was well underway by the time they were adopted. They made quite a lively addition to approved homes!
